High-cavitation closures
Tamper-evident screw closures for an FMCG beverage brand, moulded at high cavitation with in-line slitting and colour matching.
The brief
A packaging customer needed hundreds of millions of caps a year at a tight unit cost, with consistent torque removal, a reliable tamper band and an exact brand colour — the classic high-volume, low-tolerance-for-drift closure job.
What we made
We ran a 48-cavity hot-runner tool on a high-speed press with in-mould slitting for the tamper band, gravimetric colour dosing to hold the brand shade, and automated vision inspection to reject short shots before packing.
